Hercules GSP28WB FLEX Hanger

Hercules GSP28WB FLEX Hanger Review

This product is being used very successfully for hanging a dobro and a lap steel guitar on the wall.

Hercules GSP28WB FLEX Hanger Feature

• AutoSwivel yoke allows different shaped guitars and basses to hang vertically
• Attractive Wood Base for home mounting*
• Use with clasical guitars, electric guitars, acoustic guitars, banjos and electric basses (accomodates most 5-string and 6-string models)
• Auto Grip System yoke
• Specially Formulated Foam completely covers the yoke

Hercules GSP28WB FLEX Hanger Overview

FLEX Stand accomodates narrow necks as little as 28mm, wide necks up to 54mm and everything in between! *Hercules recommends mounting hanger to a wall stud for maximum stability. For non-stud, drywall mounting, please use included plastic screw anchors. Using a drill bit that is slightly smaller than the closed end of the plastic anchor, drill a hole as deep as the anchor (approximately 1.4 inches). Next, tap the anchor into the hole until flush with wall.

Hercules GSP40WB A/G Guitar Hanger

Hercules GSP40WB A/G Guitar Hanger Review

Very nice product. My only concern is about the nut and bolt connection where the self locking fork meets the rod that mounts to the wall. It allows you to set an angle on the fork so you can hang your guitars close together, like in the music store. The concern is that you cannot really lock it by tightening the nut and bolt. Over time it may loosen and move. NOT a big deal.

The locking mechanism was a very pleasant surprise. It was not explained very well on the web site and I found it to be much cooler than expected. I have never seen anything quite like it. I would have given this 5 stars, but I figured I had to account for the nut and bolt.

Hercules GSP40WB A/G Guitar Hanger Feature

• Adjustable yoke allows you to face your instrument left, right or front
• Auto Grip System yoke safely and securely holds your instrument
• Specially Formulated Foam completely covers the yoke

Great product no concern for the nut and bolt attachment as previously mentioned but then again I did install the string of hangers using lock nuts onto a Hardwood board first before mounting the Hardwood to the wall.
Locking mechanism is unique and well designed. These are definitely worth considering to get a few more guitars up attractively and more importantanly safely in a smaller footprint on the wall.
